Your phone must support eSIM functionality to scan and install the eSIM (mainland China models do not support it; reportedly, the iPhone Air can do so by changing its location through WLOC).
Phones that do not support eSIM can spend an extra 20 on Pinduoduo to buy a Xiaobai card, install the easyEUICC APP on an Android phone or use an eSIM card reader to install it, and then insert it into the phone’s SIM card slot.

How to keep a VOXI number active
While on Paygo, any balance activity (such as topping up, making a call, or sending a text) refreshes the validity period and extends it by another 180 days.
VOXI’s minimum top-up amount is £5 GBP, and you will receive an SMS notification 90 days before your number expires.
Sending an SMS from China costs only 0.08 GBP ≈ 0.8 RMB per message, and under WiFi Calling it costs only 0.01 GBP, approximately 0.1 RMB!

Two Solutions for Voxi eSIM Long-Term No Signal Issue
Here are two solutions:

Go to a place outdoors with good signal reception, wait for about 3–5 minutes, and you should get a signal. This is a simple and quick fix in emergencies, but when you return indoors, you might lose signal again.

Change your APN settings. The steps are a bit different for Android and iOS. This method is a permanent fix and is highly recommended.

Does this mean it didn’t use any other devices as transparent proxies? Is VOXI particularly easy to get working? I feel like I’ve never managed to get any other SIM cards working.
I just used the v2rayN app directly.

I’m using Android with a Mac right now, and there aren’t any tutorials.

I did the whole thing on my phone. Just follow the steps. If it doesn’t work, then there’s nothing I can do either.
