That U1S1 platform yesterday was really shady — inflated rates by ×4.67 and overcharged by 367%

rt, didn’t they launch the U1S1 free token package event yesterday?
Someone said this package runs out really fast, so I went ahead and tested it:

Test prompt Expected Difference Status
Round 1 non-streaming · Hi 84 3 +81 :red_circle:
Round 1 streaming · system+user 21 21 0 :white_check_mark:
Round 1 non-streaming · system+user 100 21 +79 :red_circle:
Round 2 non-streaming · same input 21 21 0 :white_check_mark:
Round 2 streaming · system+user 100 21 +79 :red_circle:
Round 2 non-streaming · system-only

This is only what the API returned; checking the backend at this point, it shows: 1,400 tokens
Input: 830
Output: 590

(I specifically waited for the reset to complete before testing)

So, it’s like there are two inflated counts:
Actual consumption (theoretical value) ≈ 300 tokens
API returned = 618 tokens ← First inflation (+106%)
Billing = 1,400 tokens ← Second inflation (+127% more)
Combined, that’s about 4.67x markup—367% extra counted
No wonder it’s not durable (of course, there might be issues with my test scripts, etc.)… :xhj24:
So the so-called free package claims 10 million tokens free per day, but it’s actually about 2 million tokens…

(By the way, this free event got milked hard and is over now)

But if you already got it, you can keep using it for now! :ac01:
But people probably won’t be paying to use it anymore….

Assume the project structure and core code contain 50K tokens (approximately 30,000 Chinese characters).
Round 1: 50K Input + 1K Output = 51K consumed
Round 2: 101K Input + 1K Output = 102K consumed
Round 3: 152K Input + 1K Output = 153K consumed
…
In other words, after just 10–15 rounds, the cumulative token usage can easily exceed 1–2 million! Burning through the entire quota within half an hour is perfectly normal.

If it’s free, don’t expect too much.

This is already very good.

Thanks for testing with real data—only with proof like this can some fanatics calm down.

It just stopped working while I was using it. The desktop version won’t reply to any messages, and there are no prompts or notifications at all. I have no idea what the reason is.

Is it absolutely necessary to use the specified tool?

This is already very good! Thanks for sharing.

You can actually write 2API; it’s just authentication. Each time, use an algorithm to generate a User-Agent header :ac01:

You really went to a lot of trouble—I’ve never seen such thorough testing. It leaves no unscrupulous sellers anywhere to hide and exposes all their shady practices to the light of day.
