[UlziX] Explanation of Historical Lottery and Free Machine Migration in April and May to the New Site

Recently, we’ve noticed that most of the questions are coming from users who got free machines in April and May. We think it’s necessary to clarify the situation.
The main reason some machines weren’t migrated was because the entry threshold for giveaways was too low at the time. For example, some probe-type machines were drawn hourly with little competition, most with energy below 10, and the number of machines was high. New site capacity was limited, so we restricted large purchases or quick lotteries with low entry barriers.
Now the new site is stable and region count has gradually grown to over 50. Currently, we’re able to handle even a large number of orders if all machines from the old site need to be replaced suddenly.

In advance: Our platform has supported migrating machines obtained from free lotteries to the new site for a long time, and the migration is basically complete.

Regarding the situation where some lottery and free machines stopped working due to changes in upstream providers at the end of April this year:

Scope:

All machines ever obtained via lottery (including 1h64m probe machines, possibly including some machines obtained through free flash sales, etc.—about several hundred instances) can now be recreated and used in other regions on the new site.

Special Note:

Lottery machines in US Region 17 and UK Region 2 can also be freely migrated to new site regions (currently, there is no UK region on the new site, but you can choose another available region).

Exception: If it was clearly stated at the time of issuance or in announcements that the machine would only be available temporarily or that the upstream provider would shut down soon, then this machine is NOT eligible for migration.

How to apply:

If you qualify, please submit a ticket requesting region migration. We will recreate an instance for you in the corresponding region on the new site.

Identity verification: Please provide a link to the post where you won the machine, and add a brief note with your original signup info; once we verify, we will process it for you.

All tickets will be processed together tomorrow afternoon.

No matter how others question it, I support the boss. They always respond to issues promptly, which really shows their sense of responsibility. Right now, my free migration has been running smoothly and is great, so I absolutely have to give a thumbs up—thanks a lot!

Hey boss, could you set up a 1h1g small US server for me?

Were you the one who submitted that ticket? A 20GB hard drive isn’t really cost-effective for me.

Bro, it’s me. Let me think about it a bit more, I’m kinda embarrassed, haha.

This setup for US Zone 20 is $75, what do you think? Consider it a bonus machine—I’ve supported you so many times already.

Sure, bro. Are you the one updating the ticket on your end?

Post Summary: UlziX official (LOsEE) issued a statement regarding the migration of historical lottery/free machines to the new site: In April and May, old free users questioned why their machines hadn’t been migrated. The reason was that in the past, the entry threshold for giveaways was too low (hourly lotteries, energy below 10, large quantities), and the limited number of servers on the new site meant some low-threshold quick-draw machines had to be restricted; now the number of new site regions has increased to over 50, so they can accommodate them. Scope: All machines historically obtained through the lottery (including the 1h64m probe type, about several hundred units) can now be recreated in other regions on the new site; lottery machines from US region 17 and UK region 2 also support free region migration. Exception: machines that were explicitly labeled “for temporary use only if upstream service stops” will not be migrated. How to: Submit a ticket with your winning post link and activation info; all tickets will be processed collectively the next afternoon. In the replies, GODD commented that everything is stable after migration and supports the admin; another forum member, ICBC, requested a 1h1g US server via ticket, and the admin provided a “special price” of 75 in US region 20. Summary: Old users who qualify should remember to submit a ticket to change regions and provide your winning post link.
