NodeLoc folks, today I’m sharing another hidden gem from an author. If you do mobile web development or often tinker with web pages on your phone, you definitely need to check this out!
Why recommend it?
Debugging web pages in a mobile browser has always been a pain point:
-
Chrome DevTools is completely unusable on phones
-
Installing an app is a hassle, and many apps don’t support iOS
-
There’s seemingly no way to view console logs, network requests, or
localStorage
This project solves all of these problems perfectly! It’s a lightweight in-browser developer console designed specifically for mobile devices. No app installation required—just add a bookmark (Bookmarklet), and you can debug any website on your phone.
Key features:
-
Console tab: Execute JS code directly and view colored logs (log/error/warn/info). Supports filtering and searching, command history, Tab autocomplete, and exporting logs as JSON.
-
Elements tab: View the complete HTML structure of the current page and copy it with one click.
-
Network tab: Monitor all Fetch and XHR requests, view request/response details, Headers, and Body, and filter by URL or method.
-
Storage tab: Inspect
localStorageandsessionStorage, with support for viewing, copying, and deleting data. JSON is formatted automatically. -
Cookies tab: View, filter, add, delete, and edit Cookies for the current domain, or clear them all with one click.
-
Info tab: Display device information (UA, platform, screen size, orientation) and performance metrics (load time, DNS, TCP, first paint, etc.).
-
General features: Toggle between light and dark themes, adjust the height by dragging, minimize and collapse, and use shortcuts for clearing Cookies, clearing storage, refreshing, and more.
Keyboard shortcuts (external keyboards supported):
Esc Minimize / Ctrl+K Clear / Ctrl+Shift+C Toggle display / Ctrl+Shift+E Export logs / Tab Autocomplete / ↑↓ Navigate history
Tech stack:
Vanilla JavaScript, a single main.js file, zero dependencies, and extremely lightweight.
Use cases:
-
Mobile web development and debugging
-
Troubleshooting production issues on a phone
-
Analyzing requests and storage on other people’s websites
-
A lightweight alternative to vConsole / Eruda
Finally:
The project is open source (GPL-3.0). If you find it useful, remember to give the author a Star
on GitHub to show your support!

Note: The Bookmarklet loads from the raw.githack.com CDN by default. For security-sensitive scenarios, it’s recommended to host main.js yourself.
