I’ve recently noticed that there are many VPS instances or temporary VPS offers being given away for free on the forum, but most of them are either “one-month throwaways” or troublesome to renew for the short term. So I’d like to ask whether anyone can recommend some low-cost VPS options. My intended uses are:
Setting up a personal blog or a lightweight discussion community
Creating some interesting visual static webpages, or vibe-coding small games/projects, such as the Soft Interaction Lab I recently set up;
Deploying some community members’ open-source signup bots, distribution sites, and so on
Setting up a node as a backup, etc.
New ideas are still taking shape…
Approximate configuration requirements:
I think anything with 2 cores, 2 GB RAM, a 20–100 GB disk, 50 Mbps bandwidth, and at least 100 GB of monthly traffic would meet my needs.
The location isn’t particularly important, as long as it can be connected to directly.
If anyone has a stable free VPS offer, that would be even better. Stable, low-cost options are also acceptable—I mainly don’t want to keep backing up and migrating everything all the time (actually, my dgn subscription expired again) )

ZFB payments are available again recently.
Special offer: 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB storage, 1 Gbps bandwidth, 1 TB traffic, ¥70 per year.
The value is still incredible; with reasonable usage, the traffic can be reset.
I happen to have a US server available to split:
US 2 cores, 2 GB RAM, 20 GB storage, 0.5 Gbps (around 300 Mbps direct to mainland China), 1 TB traffic/month
During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, it’s available for $50/year (or $35/year with a 10 GB disk). Pretty good value.
ucloud.cn I’ll get a server in Japan. Since your testing doesn’t have any particular requirements, you can get one free for a year—there are plenty of them around.
