First time coming to NodeLoc to do this, so I’m giving everyone some perks ![]()
But first, a little self-disclosure:
Baota Monitoring already held a giveaway in another community some time ago.
Holding another event with Monitoring again so soon does admittedly seem a little like forcing a giveaway ( ![]()
That said, Monitoring has continued to be improved during this time.
At first, it mainly offered common testing capabilities such as website speed tests, PING, TCP, DNS, and SSL. If something goes wrong with a website, you can test it from different regions and over different routes to find out where the problem actually lies.
It now also supports scheduled monitoring + anomaly alerts, so you can leave your website under direct monitoring.
The number of online monitoring nodes has also grown to 1,300+, and node recruitment is now open. Anyone with idle VPS / server resources can deploy a probe and participate.
To support website operations and troubleshooting for site administrators, we’ve also added capabilities such as traceroute, DNS pollution detection, domain blocking detection, ICP lookup, broken-link detection, and Whois, along with a range of commonly used IT tools.
Baota itself is still the server operations and management panel that many of you are familiar with.
What Monitoring does is actually quite simple:
The panel handles the server and website itself, while Monitoring checks from outside whether your website can actually be accessed normally.
From discovering and pinpointing problems to resolving them on the server, we aim to make the entire troubleshooting process as smooth as possible.
The National Day holiday has arrived as well.
You can now log in to Baota Monitoring and directly claim 9,999 monitoring credits. This holiday, you can put one of your websites under monitoring.
People can go out and have fun, but someone still needs to keep an eye on the website (
So this time, I’m also stopping by NodeLoc to hold a giveaway for everyone:
3 winners, each receiving 1 year of Baota Panel Professional Edition
How to participate:
Use 1 raffle ticket to enter the giveaway.
Wednesday, October 7, at 12:00 noon — winner announcement
It’s the last day of the holiday, so this is a nice way to wrap up National Day.
You’re also welcome to compare Baota Monitoring with the tools you normally use.
If there’s anything that’s inconvenient to use, produces inaccurate results, or if you have other testing needs for your daily operations, feel free to let us know directly. We’ll keep improving it.
