Is there anything I should be aware of when using the account?
I’ve been using it myself for over a month now, and so far there haven’t been any problems. The desktop version works too.
Just use it normally; preferably use a U.S. IP address.
Okay, I understand.
Could you
enable Platform access for the account,
create/link an Organization,
grant Tunnel management permissions,
and explain why I can’t log in to the OpenAI Platform workspace with my account?
The admin backend for K12 accounts can’t enable these permissions; it’s still different from Business.
The web version of ChatGPT on the account you bought doesn’t do any deep thinking at all—no matter what you ask, it finishes replying within five seconds.
What’s going on here? Can it be fixed?
May I ask how long you’ve been using it so far?
About 10 days, though I used it very cautiously. I kept an eye on the IP and concurrency limits, and didn’t use a reverse proxy or anything like that—just used it on my own website. I don’t know about more aggressive use cases.
That’s just making yourself look stupid. It’s usually a VPN issue or logging in on multiple devices.
The main account has been running smoothly for nearly two months now.
I’m using a residential broadband IP, and my own Plus account works fine. I have no idea why it suddenly got dumber.
It’s also possible that multiple accounts were logged in on the same device, which can likewise trigger a flag. In that case, log out of all devices, then sign in on a clean device and leave it for a few days; the restriction may then be lifted. This is a method previously announced by OpenAI.
The single-space option is sold out. If I buy a double-space option and give one space to a friend, do we need to log in with the same account?
Yes
What does K12 mean? Can I use it the same way as the PLUS membership I signed up for myself?
K-12 account type; it’s the U.S. K-12 teacher account.
Is it a ready-made account, or do I need to use my own account?
Okay, thanks.
