Help: Copilot web version is laggy—looking for ways to optimize it

After my personal account was routed to 5.6 Sol today, Copilot became extremely sluggish. The Windows web version had always been slightly laggy, but it was tolerable; today, though, it became practically unusable—the text appears one character at a time as I type.

I mainly use Copilot to study advanced calculus. I’d previously heard that rendering mathematical symbols could cause lag, but the lag before today was within an acceptable range. Today’s situation is clearly much worse.

What I’ve tried:

· Switching between multiple browsers and testing multiple accounts—the situation was the same
· The PC desktop app was equally laggy
· Closing all other software and using only the Copilot web version
· A pattern I noticed: it starts lagging after more than five rounds of conversation
· Browser memory usage peaked at around 1.5 GB, which doesn’t seem particularly high

I also use ChatGPT, and ChatGPT is extremely smooth by comparison. However, I prefer Copilot’s formatting, so I use Copilot frequently.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Are there any practical optimization methods that actually work? Thanks.

The browser uses the graphics card

:sob: My laptop only has integrated graphics. It’s unbearably frustrating… Other models are usually pretty smooth to use. It’s just this Copilot today—the lag is unbearable.
