Because my other payment service went down, I found an open-source YPay implementation based on Alipay’s protocol.
But it didn’t support WeChat Pay, so I handed it over to DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash—and the result was delightful.
It gave me a solution:
Connect directly to other YPay services through the V1 API, using only their WeChat Pay. Alipay would go through my own instance, while WeChat Pay would be provided by another YPay service.
I never expected it to work this way, but I asked it to implement the solution, and I really liked the result. It even created a design for me:
