Today I spent 300 yuan on Pinduoduo to buy a decommissioned Hellobike

Do you think there are any pitfalls?

Paid 300 for this thing, and it’s not even easy to ride.

Why go for a used one? It feels awkward to ride, whether it’s a horse or anything else. Even if it’s a cheap little-known brand, I’d still prefer a new one—used stuff just feels weird.

It’s locked up outside, and you’re still afraid the operators will tow it away?

What the heck? Shared bikes?

Have you grown attached to it from riding it? Want to get one to keep?

What else can we ride?

Turning an official vehicle into a private one?

I’m taking a huge loss here—I paid 300, which was way too much, and if Hello tows it away, I’ll be completely screwed.

I feel like the platform’s operations team will take it away soon. Will the seller provide after-sales support?

Hellobike bikes are still awful to ride. For the same 300 yuan, you can buy a better used one on Xianyu.

Buy a server and you can use it for a year; buy a shared bike, and the next day your friendly neighbor from the neighborhood will ride it outside, where the operator will tow it away.
