I also use Edge, it hasn’t happened before, suspect it’s a plugin issue.
Try disabling the plugin first though I’m using Google.

I agree, encountered this today,
edge sometimes acts up, but it’s likely related to extensions and Cookies. It’s suggested to try opening it in incognito mode, as some stubborn issues improve significantly in incognito.
