This seems rather ordinary, but when bt connects to other machines, it might include external IP information in the feedback.
No matter the reason, this immediately proves that bt will record server IP addresses. Privacy protocols are just a bunch of crap.

I locally built the bt and it didn’t use the public network; it obtained by itself.
