Never trust any free image hosting service.
In 2009, I moved my blog’s images to “Liu Jian Fang” image hosting.
I thought, “Liu Jian Fang” was the largest video website in China, and its business would surely be stable.
However, by 2016, I found out that Liu Jian Fang image hosting had shut down.
It took me several days to search through backups to recover the original images.
So now, I store all my images in the same folder as the articles on my blog.

I think image hosting is for others to see. By hosting images on a third-party image host, I save on my own device’s data usage. Still, I keep a local copy myself.
