This method mainly lets you use Opus 4.8, GPT 5.5, GPT Image 2, and FLUX2 [pro]
for free via Langdock.
langdock.com is an enterprise-level AI startup from Berlin, a participant in Y Combinator, and has received 3.5 million USD in funding.
Registration:
To register at Langdock, both temporary email addresses and custom domains work. You can enter any phone number, as they don’t send SMS verification.
Not all models are turned on by default. For example, Opus 4.8 must be enabled manually. You can enable models here, and check usage and quota as well. Remember to also turn on Overusage. The quotas are generous, the models are real, but the system does limit prompt tokens a bit.
Connecting MCP to your computer:
If you haven’t installed NodeJS yet, download and install it first.
Then execute in PowerShell:
winget install ngrok.ngrok
Register an ngrok account and copy your token from there.
After restarting PowerShell, enter:
ngrok config add-authtoken your_TOKEN
Next, open PowerShell in the folder you want to share and run the following in order:
npm install @modelcontextprotocol/server-filesystem
npx -y mcp-proxy --port 3000 – cmd.exe /c npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-filesystem “your-folder-path”
If you see:
starting server on port 3000
it means you’ve started successfully. Don’t close this window.
Connecting in Langdock:
Go here and choose:
Add Integration → Start From Scratch → Connect Remote MCP
Then, open a second PowerShell window and enter:
ngrok http 3000
Copy the generated link from the “Forwarding” line.
Paste this link into Langdock, and add at the end:
/mcp
In the end, it should look something like this:
https://…ngrok-free.dev/mcp
After adding, enter in the prompt input box:
@secure-filesystem-server
And then provide the link and the folder path you want to access.
If it doesn’t work:
Send it another link like this one:
https://…ngrok-free.dev/sse
And send your API key as well. You can generate an API key here:
In the end, you’ll be able to get Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 for free, and even access your computer folders via MCP.
