After reading the post, I just logged in directly with nodeloc. After logging in, I realized that using someone else’s invitation link gives you computing power, but I didn’t get anything like that~
Then it feels like there’s a paradox: if you can share, it means you have enough, and if you have enough, you don’t really need from others; those who don’t have enough can’t share, so they can’t exchange with others either. Aside from invitation links, is computing power basically circulating only among people with a surplus?
It’s not that no one uses it, it’s just that even the people who need to use it can’t use it more than a few times. The initial computing power provided only lasts for a couple of tries, and inviting others to register only adds a $10 limit. For example, if you already have more tokens than you can use and are eligible to share, would you still need to rely on shared tokens from others to increase your computing power? People who already have token freedom are researching token freedom 
The only use case I can think of is that maybe someone might want to trade OpenAI tokens for tokens of other models.
There’s a compute power marketplace, and judging from the architecture, it might turn into an energy-based or cash-based payment system (though I think cash payments are pretty unlikely).

The quota for bringing people in is still pretty decent right now, I’d say we’re just getting started. The cycle hasn’t been managed well — at the moment, there’s too much supply and the demand side doesn’t have enough quota.

Yeah, exactly, like there were a lot of MiMo codes a while back. Sometimes the people sharing them aren’t totally sure either, so they put them out when they’re about to expire. Even though it’s just for emergencies, with a good system in place, it can still be really helpful.
