Wow, am I really the only one just now finding out that ClawCloud bailed? 😄

[Important Notice] ClawCloud VPS, VDS and Related Service Shutdown and Refund Settlement Announcement

Dear ClawCloud Users,

Thank you for your ongoing support and trust in ClawCloud. After careful business evaluation and strategic adjustment, we regret to inform you that ClawCloud will officially shut down its VPS, VDS, and related hosting services starting from June 30, 2026.

To minimize the impact on your operations, we have developed a detailed 30-day transition and refund plan. Please read the following timeline and instructions carefully:

1. Key Dates

  • June 1, 2026: Suspension of Purchases and Service Changes
From this day, registration of new users for the related products, new purchases, renewals, and upgrades will be halted.

  • June 1–30, 2026: Migration and Refund Window
Please complete your data backup and business migration as soon as possible during this period. Eligible users can apply for refunds via the ticket system.

  • June 30, 2026, 24:00: Official Service Shutdown
At this time, all servers involved in the discontinuation will be forcibly shut down and the data will be permanently destroyed. The refund application channel will close simultaneously. Please ensure your data is exported before this deadline—ClawCloud will not be responsible for any data loss caused by non-migration after service shutdown.

2. Refund Policy and Procedure

  • For prepaid users with remaining available service time, refunds will be processed proportionally based on the “remaining time proportion.”

  • Refund Rules and Limitations:

    • Refunds will be returned via the original payment method used for the order, as required by payment gateway regulations.
    • Instance Transfer & Refund Restriction: If your server instance was acquired through the “Account Transfer” feature, and no payments or renewals were made on your account after the transfer, this instance will not be eligible for a refund under your account. Applications that do not meet the “original method refund” requirement will be rejected, as refunds cannot be processed for orders with no payment record.
    • No handling fees will be charged for this round of refunds.

3. Next Steps (Refund Ticket Submission Guidelines)

Please log in to the ClawCloud Console as soon as possible to review the status of your instances. If you wish to request a refund, please submit a ticket via the console before June 30. To ensure your refund can be verified and processed quickly, please adhere to the following ticket submission rules:

  • Clear Ticket Subject: The word “Refund” must be included in the ticket title.
  • Accurately Link Instances: When submitting, select and correctly link the server instance you wish to request a refund for.
  • One Instance per Ticket: If you have multiple servers for refund, submit a separate ticket for each one. Do not combine requests for multiple servers in one ticket.

If you encounter any issues during data migration or refund application, please contact our customer support team at any time.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this service adjustment, and thank you again for your understanding and cooperation with ClawCloud.
