[Cryptocurrency] May–July Earnings Report & Quant Group

Initial capital: 80u, return of around 60%, profit of around 600u. The main strategy was short selling.

However:

  • Take a guess why I didn’t post the full image

  • Personal trading is indeed influenced by emotions, and it’s easy to get carried away

I’m now starting to try quantitative trading, but I don’t have any financial knowledge. I’m a pure computer science student, so I’m looking for someone with experience in quantitative trading to try developing an algorithmic trading program together.
For me, the goal isn’t to make big profits. Small profits and small losses are both acceptable.

Short selling has been really unprofitable lately.

Yes, everything is starting to rebound, but if you stick to a strict stop-loss policy, you can still keep your losses under control.

Which time frame are you doing quant trading on? Trading on the minute level really depends a lot on internet speed.

Too slow—I’ll just mention two cows and my girlfriend Jing Tian! Fortune is found in danger.:ac01:

Those kinds of meme coins rise and fall without any logic and have no real use — better not to buy them.

I get it when I see only half the picture; if I saw the whole thing, it’d probably be full of traces from the higher-ups.

My manual strategy is 1h~4h.

That kind is basically gambling.

First, try out your quantitative strategies using TD’s virtual trading. Backtest your strategies to see how they perform in different market conditions—bull markets, bear markets, and sideways markets. After making a general assessment of the current market, optimize different strategies accordingly.

I’ve already tried working on it with GPT’s help.

Hahaha, this kind of thing I only watch—I never buy. I just enjoy watching the “gambling gods” flying around. :ac01:
