I bought an airport, but I feel like it’s not very stable.
How long have you been using it, is it stable? My T keeps timing out.
I’ve only been using it for two months. At first, I tried the 2.88 plan, and since it felt pretty good, I bought the 5.88 one.
Sure, I just bought the 5.88 one.
Could you check it?
You can just buy one directly; there’s no need to set it up yourself, and buying one is a bit cheaper.
Get a credit card and take advantage of Oracle’s offers—lots of resources, unlimited and free. I’ve already got four accounts. The only downside is you never know when they’ll get banned—could be tomorrow, could be next year. ![]()
Monitoring looks pretty good so far. The residential broadband nodes are clean; I just don’t know how stable they are. As long as they don’t time out often, it’ll be fine.
Not as good as an airport (service); airports are stable, as long as they haven’t shut down. If you set it up yourself on your own hardware, the network speed and latency might not be ideal. Sure, it’s fine for watching 720p videos, but if you want to watch 4K movies, it’s still better to use an airport (service).
Got it, thanks, boss!
Just search for “vps8” on the forum. Check in to earn points, which can be exchanged for VPSes.
Oracle Cloud offers downgraded plans, plus there are cheap VPS options.
But you have to handle disaster recovery and backups yourself.
There’s a chance it may get blocked. If it does, put it behind Cloudflare. Generally, IPv6 addresses won’t be blocked, so you can set up dual-stack nodes when configuring it. However, IPv6 nodes require an IPv6 network environment locally.
For AFF, you need to add the AFF tag before your link.
Where do I add it?
Alright, thanks bro!
Are you still using this one, or do you have any other recommendations?
Yes, I’m still using this one. There’s also the airport one—do you need it?
