Looking for recommendations on cheap VPS

Request: I want to set up a VPN/proxy for everyday use. At home I use China Unicom broadband. Don’t want anything too expensive—the cheaper, the better.
Also, I’m wondering if setting up a VPN/proxy could get my IP blocked. If my IP does get blocked, what should I do?
This is my first time buying a VPS (previously I always used subscription services). Is a VPS generally more stable than subscription services (a.k.a. “airports”)? Can VPSs always unlock AI services and streaming platforms?

If you want to use a VPN, it’s better to go with an airport provider. Little providers always have issues—during peak times, connections drop all the time.

Is it still not as stable as the airport?

So you mean wrapping a Cloudflare (CF) frontend around your VPS (literally “chicken”)?

Are there still any free VPSs?

Your VPN is just for bypassing restrictions. Why not use a free one if it’s available?

Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap VPSes that allow port 25?

This one costs 5.88/month for 1TB, household bandwidth, and it’s really clean. I’m personally using it myself (contains an affiliate link—delete if you mind).

It won’t open—do I need a VPN?

Yes, it is needed.

Have you tested it?

There are some, haha.

vps8, you can check in to claim (rewards/prizes).

If you know any good ones, please recommend them.

Hey, could you please point me in the right direction?

If your usage is low, you can set it up yourself.
