What’s going on with Telegram? Does it cost money to log in even with an existing account?

I currently have one account logged in on my computer, and I want to log in on my phone too.

But it says I have to get a one-week membership before I can use it…

I don’t want to install an older version of Tg. Is there really no other way?

I was forced to get a one-week membership. Damn it.

A few days ago, when logging into an existing account, it was enough to have the original email address receive the verification code.

It doesn’t work. I’ve tried several times, but after completing the email step, it still takes me to the payment page to purchase Premium.

Just use a third-party one; that’ll do.

No, just refresh it a few more times until you can get in directly.

I’m not really keen on using a third party…

Didn’t you link a passkey?

Luckily, I’m logged into both.

Set up a passkey on your computer, then use it on your phone to skip this step.

I use a third party

This will be out before June.

Yes, unless you have a device online; otherwise, you’ll be charged even if you have an account.

No business model, and you’re already trying to fleece people?

Create a Google passkey on the desktop website, then use it to sign in on your phone. Shouldn’t it be an in-app verification code login instead?

Could I borrow a node for a bit? All three devices have gone offline.
