Synopsis
An orphanage that also serves as a state institution for training military magic weapons takes in children with no one to care for them and raises them as magical weapons for war. Death is commonplace for the children who live there, and they are unable to fully express their grief. One morning, 14-year-old Sheena learns that her roommate has died in the war. Suppressing her grief, she cannot fully accept her circumstances. That night, she encounters a blood-covered girl—and the next day, a girl named Mimi transfers into Sheena’s class. Rumor has it that Mimi is the school’s secret weapon. Their encounter slowly begins to change Sheena’s heart.
