Why does Claude keep getting banned? I’ll tell you the truth

Stop being misled by all these different interpretations.

Some people claim that your computer language, Chinese language, or Chinese symbols have something to do with getting your account banned. They don’t.

Claude has never banned accounts simply because their users are Chinese. It bans accounts whose actual IP location is in China.

Even if your IP is in China, you’ll still be banned whether you always speak English, Arabic, or any other language.

Claude bans accounts using Chinese IP addresses.

Tested personally: my Claude account was registered with an overseas IP, and I’ve always used that same overseas IP. I always chat with Claude in Chinese, and my computer’s language is also Chinese. So far, everything has been fine.

There are two things I can’t confirm:
The computer’s time
Proactively sending Claude a message saying that I’m Chinese

Since you haven’t been affected by the ban, you think you’re right. Just wait until it happens to you one day—you’ll be cursing up a storm.

The main reason Claude gets banned is payment channel issues. If you have a friend abroad make the payment for you, there shouldn’t be any problem. I use a U.S. server from LuckVM and had an American friend register and pay for me. The email address is his too, and I still haven’t been banned.
