Current community lottery uses a “energy points (NL) to purchase lottery tickets” model, where the winning probability is proportional to the number of tickets purchased. This mechanism tends to favor high-input users to a greater extent, leading to an over-reliance on “wealth” for winning opportunities, which is somewhat unfair.
To enhance fairness and participation experience, the following suggestions are proposed:
- Uniform Participation Threshold
- Each participant only needs to consume 1 NL to obtain one lottery draw opportunity, ensuring equal winning probabilities for everyone.
- Energy Compensation Mechanism
- The initiator of the lottery draw will receive a compensation of 100 times NL based on the number of participants from the official side.
- For example: If there are 100 participants, the initiator directly receives 10,000 NL compensation.
- If the lottery draw fails to sell out (no winners or canceled), the energy points consumed by participants will be fully refunded.
- Punishment and Restrictions
- Users who initiate a lottery draw but fail to fulfill the prizes after the event will be permanently deprived of the right to post lottery draws.
- The system can restrict the posting of lottery draws through keyword detection or labeling of违规users, immediately prompting “not allowed to post lottery draws” upon triggering.
This plan can improve the fairness of the lottery while also maintaining the enthusiasm of initiators and clearly constraining违规behavior.
