-
Register and log in, then create a server
-
Fill in any name you like, select Java as the system, and create the server
-
Click Manage Server. The system will prompt a setup time of 10-15 minutes, but in my test it took just 35 seconds.
-
Download the configuration file for editing: java-xah/application.yml at main · vevc/java-xah · GitHub
Download the startup file, rename the default name in the startup file: Release v25.10.25 · vevc/java-xah · GitHub -
Click the Start button, scroll down, copy the file name, locate the two files you just downloaded, rename them, and open the other one with Notepad.
-
Go back to the terminal, where you can see the IP and port. Change the uuid; no need to worry about the kernel version for now, keep the tunnel fixed, and remember to save the Notepad contents.

Click Files, upload files, then click the config file to check if the modifications were successful
-
Go to the terminal and click the Start button
Node information is in the file node.txt. Double-click to open and copy as needed. Latency is a bit high at 310ms; in some regions, latency may vary due to network and ISP reasons. If it shows -1 in some places, just switch the kernel. My demo results are for reference only.
On another note: Free, useful, long-term — the impossible triangle! It’s worth looking into the three-sector graph. Please have a realistic mindset. The French hn21 container I shared a few days ago is still working fine, with normal nodes. The operation is similar. If you have time, check out Yong Ge’s livestream.
The right mindset for using free containers to set up proxy nodes: Free is sweet, but too much sugar can numb you. Newbies should manage their expectations. Free resources are not for those who try to have it both ways.
