Seeking help from experts, how to prioritize IP addresses for Cloudflare root, bounty 500NL

The domain name is rdev.qzz.io,currently preferred through fixed IP,the effect can only be said to be so-so,it was fast at the beginning but not after a week

This subdomain under the domain name also hosts some worker and pages services, try to ensure access

The root domain should be preferred to point to Vercel,it’s best to do this through CNAME

Does anyone know how to do this?A link would be fine too

Are there not many tutorials online?

Can you help find one? Cloudflare root forced CNAME flattening, I found many but they prefer subdomains.

Found online, I’m not sure if this is what you need.

, this method actually prefers Cloudflare, but the reality is that Vercel is faster than Cloudflare even if it is slower…

Sure, use your main domain as the SaaS entry and host your main domain on any platform that supports GeoDNS.

Can you give me a tutorial? I have used SaaS but I am not familiar with it.

It seems impossible to guarantee the services of other workers because the domain needs to be removed from CloudFlare hosting.

SaaS Preferred
  1. Host the domain rdev.qzz.io on Huawei Cloud (Global) or Alibaba Cloud (any that supports GEO DNS).
  2. Park the subdomain of any CF-hosted domain to the service assumed as x.abc.com with A or AAAA record.
  3. In the SSL/TLS menu of the abc.com domain on CF, add x.abc.com as a fallback origin.
  4. Add rdev.qzz.io as a custom hostname (domain validation and DC delegation are done on the GEO DNS side).
  5. On the GEO DNS side, add two CNAME records for rdev.qzz.io. One is a global default with value x.abc.com; the other is for mainland China with value SaaS Preferred Domain.

It seems this is the best method, I’ll think about it again.

Yes, exactly the way of the 9th floor, one domain hosted on CF, the other as the main domain accessed to CF through SaaS.

I think I achieved it through preferred domain names. So far, stability is quite good.

Can’t you change your service to a subdomain directly? If you want root domain prioritization, you can host another domain abc.qzz.io and cname it to cdn.rdev.qzz.io for prioritization, then source back to rdev.qzz.io. Of course, there’s an even simpler method: direct worker routing reverse proxy.
