When you host your domain on VPS8

Recently, many friends have successfully hosted their domains on VPS8. Thank you for your support!

However, some friends have also encountered failures.

So:

Before you delegate, you must ensure:

1、You have changed the nameservers to ns1/ns2.vps8.zz.cd in the upstream. (Note: This is about changing the nameservers, not adding NS records.)

2、If DNSSEC was enabled in the upstream, make sure you have cleared the DS records, otherwise, resolution will fail.

3、If you need to enable DNSSEC, after enabling it, you can fill in the DS records generated by the backend into the upstream’s DS zone.

When you successfully host:

1、You can achieve @ root domain CNAME resolution, allowing you to bind the root domain to Cloudflare Pages.

2、You can achieve DDNS, setting up dynamic domain resolution for your home NAS and soft routers.

3、You can apply for certificates online.

4、You can enable DNSSEC, enjoying secure and fast resolution services (provided that your upstream supports DS record addition).
