You mentioned creating a resource post with “reply-to-view” settings, which is understandable. However, when you have a blog and still use reply-to-view settings, only to find out after replying that the blog content is severely lacking, it really worsens the user experience. I suggest the admin adjusts the settings to restrict certain categories from using reply-to-view. @James
I agree with your opinion.
Agreed
They’ve been called out.
I’m just having a look, but I also think what you said makes sense.
Support OP’s opinion—it’s fresh to try out occasionally, but it gets dull if done too frequently.

Recently, it feels like everything requires a reply to view. I’m just leaving it as it is! I won’t even bother anymore!

It really affects the experience a lot. Many OPs are so afraid that their posts will sink that they unnecessarily add “reply to view” settings to everything. Once a reply is made, it often turns out that the content wasn’t anything special – frequently it’s material already posted on the forum or copied from somewhere else. This leaves those who replied feeling deceived. On the other hand, though, setting “reply to view” is within the OP’s rights. If you’ve been tricked too many times, you can simply choose not to reply. It’s a two-way situation, after all.
Uh
Alright
Hmm
Haha, makes sense.

After being deceived multiple times, my impression of the forum has worsened.
Absolutely agree—it’s annoying and a waste of time.
I completely agree with OP’s opinion.
