Haven’t held a giveaway for a long time. I’ve been working summer jobs in factories lately, so I haven’t had much free time. Now, I’ve set up a little raffle with two special NAT VPS boxes for everyone in nl to have some fun with.
Specs: 1 core, 512MB RAM, 30GB storage. Port range open from 10000-10100 (SSH port is separate and doesn’t use up this range). Virtualization: LXC. Host is in HK, so during peak hours you might need to compete with your neighbors for resources and bandwidth
The datacenter has network monitoring. Proxy relaying and exit node stuff will get cut off (even running FRP seems not allowed). Monthly traffic is 300GB (shared up and down, but you don’t have to compete with neighbors for this). Bandwidth: 20 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up (this part is shared with neighbors). The physical host is a 1C1.5G lightweight cloud instance, a bit oversold, so you’ll have to fight with your neighbors for resources.
There are two IPs, one per box (you could also share, but if you share one IP, the 300GB of monthly traffic will be split between you and your neighbor; with a dedicated IP, you get the whole 300GB to yourself — bandwidth is still shared though).
Test IPs: 103.24.218.201, 103.24.218.197
Privileged containers seem to be buggy and might not work.
The boxes should be usable until August 28th, but how long you can actually use them is up to luck — maybe a week before you lose connection, or maybe you’ll be fine until next year.
The draw will be at 3:30 PM this afternoon (2026/07/19 15:30).
